Great to meet you!

If something has felt off for a while, you're not imagining it — and you don't have to keep pushing through alone.

Maybe it's work stress, a relationship that's wearing on you, or just the relentless pace of life in New York. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: what you're feeling makes sense, and things can genuinely get better.

I'm Sarah, a licensed psychologist with a Psy.D. from Spalding University. I specialize in anxiety and depression, and I've worked across hospitals, correctional settings, and private practice — experiences that gave me a deep respect for how differently people cope, survive, and heal. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and I won't treat you like a checklist.

My approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based methods — DBT, CBT, and ACT — tailored to what actually fits you. Sessions are practical: we'll build real skills you can use outside the room, and I'll never push you faster than feels right.

What you can expect from me

It won't feel like an interrogation. We'll take it slow — I'll want to understand what's brought you here, what you've been carrying, and what you're hoping for. My goal is simple: you leave that first hour feeling heard, less alone, and a little more hopeful than when you walked in.

I have availability this September. If any of this resonates, reaching out is the hardest part — I'll take it from there.
