Great to meet you!

I earned my Psy.D. from Spalding University and specialize in supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety and depression. I have worked in hospitals, correctional settings, and private practices, which has led me to a deep appreciation for the many ways people cope, survive, and heal. These experiences help me bring a grounded, compassionate, and flexible approach to the clients I work with today.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma‐informed, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I draw from evidence‐based modalities including DBT, CBT, & ACT, while tailoring each session to your unique needs and strengths. I incorporate psychoeducation, skills training, and optional between‐session “homework" to help you apply what we discuss in real time.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session with me to feel like a gentle introduction rather than a test. We’ll spend time getting to know what brings you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping for in therapy. My goal is to understand your history and current concerns, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Together, we’ll talk through what therapy might look like for you, explore your goals, and make sure the pace and approach feel comfortable. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.
