Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 10 years of experience in various mental health roles supporting teens, adults, and families through stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative—therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I use a mix of approaches like CBT, trauma-focused care, DBT skills, mindfulness, solution-focused work, family systems, and humanistic therapy, tailoring sessions to what actually works for you. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and more confident navigating real-life challenges.

As a first-generation Latina, breaking generational stigma around mental health is deeply important to me. I’m passionate about providing culturally responsive care that honors identity, family values, and lived experience while creating safe space for healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strength-based and collaborative. I help clients recognize their own resilience by drawing on past experiences and strengths and using them in the present. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change, and I work hard to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and supportive. Together, we focus on making sense of emotions, strengthening relationships, and creating changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in real life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space while making sure you understand the therapy process, including informed consent, boundaries, and how to reach me between sessions. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful. I’ll be open about progress as we go and check in regularly to make sure therapy is helpful. If at any point a different level of care or an additional referral would better support you, I’ll guide you through that with your best interests and safety in mind.
