Great to meet you!

I am a fun, creative, warm and caring person who has many years of professional and lived experience with children, adolescents and families. I am a Clinical Social Worker and Licensed K-12 School Counselor. My passion is in helping people get unstuck and move things forward in ways that are do-able (step by step) yet challenging and effective. (Growth comes through the struggle, and I'm here to guide you through it) https://isaycounseling.wixsite.com/isaycounseling

My approach to therapy

I will offer you options of the type of approaches and treatments that could work (a menu of sorts), and work with you to tailor your approach to meet your unique needs (not a one size fits all). I work with all ages, and my specialty is kids and families with a parent support/consultation piece. I am experienced in CBT, trauma therapy, play therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, neurodivergent approaches, executive function coaching, school support and how to work with your child's school, marriage counseling (Gottman approaches), and Christian/Biblical counseling (if that is something you are interested in).

What you can expect from me

During the first session, it's important that we see if I am a match for you, and that you to begin to tell your story, so I can understand how to best support you (or your child!).
