Great to meet you!

Having been a practicing LMFT for the past 25 years who loves what she does, I am excited to work with you. I received my masters from Boston College before moving back home and getting licensed in California. When life took me back out East again, I got my Virginia license as well. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families across many different issues, so I adjust my approach to each specific treatment need.

My approach to therapy

My style can best be described as an empathetic, supportive, warm, and straight forward approach, mixed with some humor. I see my role as a balance between offering informed perspectives, and providing a safe, supportive environment for my client's to explore their needs. My focus is on finding solutions that work for each unique client and empowering them within their lives.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to be welcomed without judgment, and your needs heard and addressed in a collaborative environment. I believe coming to therapy or even giving it a try is evidence of your desire to heal and evolve and you have my utmost respect. You can count on me to be both honest and transparent, and imbue each session with both hope and solutions.
