Great to meet you!

As a Licenced Clinical Social Worker, I provide inclusive and affirming therapy for individuals, couples and groups. I understand that people carry unique experiences and I am here to offer a space where you can show up fully as yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in social justice. I work with clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, identity exploration, coming out, transitions, relationship dynamics and the stress of living in a world that often is not welcoming or inclusive to all.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based practices, with nature-based perspectives, creating a grounded, holistic space for self-exploration and growth. You will find a space where all parts of you are welcome-your identity, your story, your grief and your joy. I aspire to empower you to find your place in the world.

What you can expect from me

My goal in our first session is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. Our first session is primarily about understanding you and what brings you to therapy. We may talk about:

  • What’s been feeling difficult or overwhelming
  • Important life experiences and relationships
  • Your current supports and stressors
  • Your goals or hopes for therapy

You’re always in control of what you share. We move at a pace that feels safe for you.

We’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work toward. Some clients come with very clear goals; others just know something doesn’t feel right. Either is completely okay. Together, we’ll start shaping a plan that aligns with your needs.

I’ll review confidentiality, answer any questions you have, and explain how sessions typically work. If you’re unsure about the process, this is a great time to ask.

You don’t have to tell your whole story in one session. Therapy is a process. The first meeting is about connection and building a foundation for the work ahead.
