Great to meet you!

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years ranging from child welfare to end of life, and many things in between. If you are ready to face challenges related to trauma, depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, end of life issues and/or chronic illness with a therapist who will listen, validate you and your feelings and encourage personal growth in all aspects of your life, lets schedule a time to meet.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy in my practice.

I have chosen these approaches because I believe in identifying the root cause to get a better understanding of the "why." Once that is determined, we can work together to not only learn how to cope with past and current symptoms but also work towards a happier, more productive life for you moving forward.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a safe place to be your authentic self. You can say what you need to say and feel how you need to feel without fear of judgment. As your therapist, I will be fully engaged in your treatment. I will provide active listening, work with you on identifying destructive thought patterns and teach you how to change the narrative. You will feel heard. You will feel validated. You will learn how to respond to stressful situations without looking back in regret for what you said or did.
