Great to meet you!

After seeing a family member struggle with their mental health and witnessing the positive effect therapy had on them, I decided I wanted to help people in the same way. I want to hold space for you to speak freely about your thoughts, feelings, difficulties, and hardships. Through this process, I will help you better understand yourself, your behavior, and where you fit into the world. I work best with young people between the ages of 15 and 35, as I understand the challenges life brings during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. During our time together, I will help lead you on a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance so you can begin to live a more fulfilling life. I am dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and welcoming space where you are free to be honest and authentic. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively. I know that starting therapy can be an overwhelming or even scary experience. However, you have already taken the first step, and I am ready to meet you where you are. Reach out, and we can begin our journey together.

My approach to therapy

Building a strong therapeutic relationship begins with an encouraging and accepting environment. Together we will work on exploring, understanding, and overcoming current and past life challenges, as well as self-discovery and self-acceptance. Issues surrounding trauma, relationships, and whatever else you need during our time together can be discussed. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where you are free to explore your true self, share your deepest thoughts, and talk about your most intense emotions. Together we will explore your past and present, while envisioning a future, improved version of yourself. From personal experience, I know how important mental healthcare is to each person’s overall well-being. Making your mental health a priority we will create together a set of boundaries you need with others in your life

What you can expect from me

I have experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Their concerns and needs have included anxiety, communication, boundary-setting, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, and life transitions. The populations I best serve are children and young adults, ages 15 to 35. From my past work with children and teens, I connect well with that group. During our first session, we will explore your reasons for reaching out, goals for therapy, and your history.
