Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make a change but aren't quite sure where to start. As a woman in long-term recovery, I know personally that growth isn't always a straight line and that creating a different life takes more than simply knowing what you “should” do. My own experiences, along with my background in mental health and addiction treatment, have shaped the way I show up as a therapist, with honesty, compassion, and a genuine belief that people can change. You don't have to have it all figured out before you walk through the door.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’ll give you space to talk and process, but I’ll also ask questions, offer feedback, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, compassion-focused approaches, and trauma-informed care, tailoring therapy to what actually feels useful for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to tell me everything at once. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and clear about where we can start.
