Sarah Flavien

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice and I have a passion for helping individuals from diverse backgrounds achieve their highest potential in life. It was through my healing journey that I knew I wanted to help others on theirs. I received my MSW at the University of Central Florida and completed 2 years of post-graduate hours to obtain my clinical license. I am an EMDR trained therapist, and I work with clients impacted by trauma, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.

My approach is warm, affirming, and client centered. I like to create a space in which my clients can safely explore their issues while feeling supported. My goal is to honor the complexity and uniqueness of each person as I support clients in a process of self-discovery that leads to lasting and meaningful change.

Clients can expect to get to know themselves on a deeper level. We will identify triggers, negative beliefs, patterns of behavior, that are no longer serving you. This will allow you to move forward in your life with a greater sense of inner freedom, self-confidence, and optimism. I believe we already come equipped with the tools to learn, grow, and acquire wisdom. And together we will discover your gifts, strengths, and purpose.
