Great to meet you!

I am so glad you are here!

A little bit about me. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and have taken coursework in psychology at Harvard University. I have long been a student of human behavior, knowing since my senior year in high school that I wanted to be a therapist.

I live on the east side of Cleveland, but have spent time abroad, and have lived on both coasts. I love animals, travel, art, music, community involvement, and most of all my family and friends.

I am passionate about what I do. Everyday I feel honored to sit with people from various backgrounds, ages, and cultures. Often people tell me things they have never shared with anyone else. This is not because I am the same as they are, but because they know that I accept them, as they are!

Humbled by the complexity of human existence, I feel honored to work with individuals from different racial and cultural backgrounds, as well as sexual and gender identities.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive and empowering. We will walk through your therapy journey together, side by side, not expert and novice. I will be there to help you dig deeper, walk farther, learn more, all with increased peace and acceptance.

My primary areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I intertwine strength-based, cognitive (CPT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I see clients in-person or virtually. I also offer "walk and talk" sessions for those who wish to add movement to therapy.

What you can expect from me

During our first meeting, we will spend some time building rapport, exploring what it is you are looking for in a therapist, and what goals you may have. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about myself, or therapy in general. I know starting therapy, especially if you have never sought it before, can be intimidating.
