Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I enjoy working with college age adults and working professionals. Many times, taking the first step to enter therapy can be a difficult decision. I want to support you through this transition and help you navigate career burnout, adjusting from college to a full time job, and work and family stress.

Being able to acknowledge that life has become overwhelming and extra support is needed takes courage. Coming from the strengths-based perspective, I believe that everyone has the abilities and qualities to set and achieve goals to better their lives.

My approach to therapy

I utilize Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to identify your ultimate goals and motivation for personal growth. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify unhelpful thought patterns and ways to improve upon coping skills and self care.

What you can expect from me

My area of focus includes working with individuals who struggle with career burnout, college/career transitions, anxiety, depression, life transitions, mood disorders, relationship challenges, and stress. I want to support and assist you along your journey to living your best life!
