Great to meet you!

I have been licensed for 16 years and have worked in private practice for 20. I come from a background in The Arts, and have extensive experience treating relational and sexuality issues. Working with creative people and artists in a safe, non-judgmental way is central to my therapeutic approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach is mainly relational, sometimes behavioral, and at all times relevant to my client's needs. My practice focuses on women's issues, creative blocks, young people, phase of life/career issues, feelings of isolation, social anxiety, trauma and sexuality issues.

My role as a therapist is to act as a co-facilitator with my clients in order to help them to gain an understanding and expand awareness of their unique and dynamic personalities; their family history and role in it; their strengths and liabilities; patterns in thinking, feeling, and relating.

What you can expect from me

It's important to me that clients feel empowered, emotionally safe and not judged in therapy. It is my goal to be able to provide a place where clients feel comfortable to fully unpack their most vulnerable material, and experience the collaborative approach I offer. While I bring my years of clinical skills and life experience, clients bring their expertise of themselves; together, we form a healing, solution-focused partnership.
