Great to meet you!

I have a passion for working with clients who struggle with trauma related issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and addictions. I also have experience working in family-based programs as well as helped co-create a successful "Marriage Repair Workshop" with a close colleague.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is to help my clients help themselves by first establishing trust and security within the therapeutic relationship. In working with my clients, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques. As a former yoga teacher, I focus also on the mind/body connection in helping clients heal and thrive.

What you can expect from our first session

I focused on trauma in graduate school and have worked extensively in not only mental health settings, but also in drug and alcohol outpatient facilities. A huge goal in my therapeutic process is to help clients realize their self worth and power to change.

I am currently taking new clients and encourage you to reach out to me to help you on your journey to feel well again. Please see my contact details and I look forward to hearing from you.
