Denton County Friends of the Family clinical staff until 2012. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults in the community and group practice setting. I am a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community. I have individual, group, and play therapy experience, including a primary focus on relationship violence, sexual assault, anxiety disorders, grief/loss, and trauma survivors.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and client. I use an integrative therapeutic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic therapy, and Family systems. Therapy is different for everyone and there is no “cookie cutter approach’. I will work diligently to help you outline your goals for therapy so that you can achieve the results you desire, whether for yourself or your loved one.

I want all my clients to know that I consider it a privilege and honor to be allowed into their stories and lives. I deeply believe each person is worthy of being fully understood, empowered, and supported in this life. Therapy is where you should feel safe to be authentically you, and finding the right therapist is important.
