Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a space where healing feels possible, even during life’s most difficult seasons. My style is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients feel supported while also gaining practical tools to move forward.

My professional background includes mobile crisis response work with law enforcement, where I supported individuals in high-stress situations. This experience has given me unique insight into the needs of first responders, healthcare workers, and others navigating demanding environments.

In addition to trauma work, I frequently help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My practice is centered on creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth feel possible.

My approach to therapy

I am currently accepting new clients specifically for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a focused approach that can help reduce the emotional and physical distress connected to difficult experiences, memories, and other concerns.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and overwhelming emotional or physical responses. You may be experiencing intrusive or distressing memories, nightmares, intense reactions to reminders or triggers, or physical sensations connected to anxiety, anger, fear, or other emotions that feel difficult to control.

I also have extensive professional experience working with first responders, including law enforcement and other professionals regularly exposed to high-stress and potentially traumatic experiences. This background has given me a strong understanding of the unique demands of these roles and the ways those experiences can continue to affect you long after the moment has passed.

My style is warm, direct, and solution-oriented, with a focus on helping you create meaningful change in how you feel and respond.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be a comprehensive intake where we’ll take time to understand you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll review your background, current symptoms and concerns, relevant medical and mental health history, previous experiences with therapy, trauma history when applicable, and other factors that may be impacting what you’re experiencing.

We’ll talk about what you would like to see change, identify your goals for therapy, and develop a treatment plan together. This allows me to get a more holistic understanding of what you’re experiencing and how it is affecting your life.

We’ll also discuss how Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) works, what you can expect from the process, and how we may use ART to address your specific goals. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions so you feel informed and prepared before we begin the ART process.
