Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Sarah Haan board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner ( PMHNP:BC) graduated from Wayne State University with honors and 16 years caring for patients as a nursing professional working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My commitment to psychiatry stems from a deep belief that everyone deserves access to exceptional, compassionate mental health care. I am deeply invested in walking alongside you through your challenges, celebrating your victories, and helping you build a fulfilling life. For me, this work is more than a clinical practice—it is a lifelong dedication to reducing stigma, restoring hope, and empowering you to reclaim your emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

Holistic & Trauma-Informed Virtual Mental Health Care in New Mexico

My online practice specializes in navigating the complexities of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I reject the "one-size-fits-all" model. Instead, we work collaboratively to address the biological, emotional and social factors impacting your health. My treatment approach of integrating modern psychopharmacology with supportive therapy and holistic wellness strategies, I ensure your treatment plan honors your personal values and lifestyle.

Through a secure and convenient telehealth platform, I provide New Mexico residents a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental virtual space where your voice is heard. Whether you are healing from long-standing trauma, managing a chronic mood condition, or navigating the unique challenges of adulthood and aging, my goal is to empower you with the insights and tools necessary to reclaim your peace and thrive from the comfort of your own home.

I believe true mental wellness requires looking at the whole person, acknowledging how life histories, life transitions, and past traumas shape our current well-being. By blending advanced clinical expertise with a deeply empathetic nursing philosophy, I partner with my clients to create individualized pathways to healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first 60-90 minute session, we will focus entirely on your story, your current challenges, and your goals. This is a collaborative, judgment-free space designed to help you feel heard and supported.

Together, we will review your mental health history, daily symptoms, current medications ( including supplements) and medical history. We will then build a personalized treatment plan that fits your life—which may include medication, lifestyle changes, or therapy and follow up sessions. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet; we will take it one step at a time.
