Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. I provide evidence-based treatment for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, and other mental health concerns. My background in both medical and psychiatric care allows me to consider the whole person, including how physical health, sleep, medications, and lifestyle may affect mental health. I believe you deserve to feel heard and understood—not reduced to a diagnosis or checklist of symptoms.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and centered on understanding you as a whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. When medication is appropriate, I believe in thoughtful prescribing and making treatment decisions together after discussing your options, concerns, and goals. I also incorporate supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, problem-solving, and practical behavioral strategies when appropriate. My goal is to help you better understand yourself while developing a treatment plan that is both effective and realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for me to understand what brought you to treatment and what you hope will change. We will discuss your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatments, medications, sleep, daily functioning, relationships, and other factors that may be affecting your mental health. I encourage you to ask questions and openly share your concerns and preferences throughout the appointment. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan so you leave with a clear understanding of our next steps.
