Great to meet you!

My name is Sarah, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I hold a dual Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University, and I’ve been practicing as a fully licensed therapist since 2013. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families in a variety of settings—including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and in-home therapy—each experience deepening my understanding of the unique paths we all walk.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Counseling is a process by which we work together to identify and work on any issues you bring to our sessions. My approach to counseling involves helping you to identify strengths within yourself and develop self-awareness. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, typically including Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. Together, we will work to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with care and curiosity. My hope is to help you build greater self-understanding, develop healthier ways of coping, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am looking forward to walk alongside you as you grow, heal, and reconnect!
