Great to meet you!

As a queer woman, I've worked my whole career to build a safe space for other members of the LGBTQ+ community to share their struggles and receive guidance. The struggles our community faces are unique and require empathy that is both accurate and genuine.I'm trained extensively in working with couples and relationships and also love working with moms. As a mom myself, I've found therapy to be an effective way to achieve satisfaction and balance.

My approach to therapy

I usually take a conversational approach to therapy so that it isn’t overwhelming or anxiety-inducing. My clients and I discuss the areas in their lives that they feel need improvement. We establish goals, and we work together to problem-solve and achieve those goals. The relationship and rapport I build with my clients is paramount to the process, and I want my clients to feel safe and never judged. I utilize the Gottman Method with my couples and relationship clients, and also translate those communication building skills to my work with individual clients. I work with all things LGBTQ+, as well as ENM/ethical non-monogamy, and BDSM/kink dynamics.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on easing my clients into the therapy process as comfortably as possible through learning about them and their life experiences, the struggles they face, and the goals they have. I spend time learning who my clients are at their core, and try to find ways to relate to each client that allow us to form a connection that feels less clinical, safer, and more authentic. My clients describe me as authentic, approachable, and easy to talk to.
