Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience helping adults navigate through a wide range of mental health challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2010 and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment settings, providing me with a broad and practical clinical foundation.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths‐based. I draw from mindfulness practices and positive psychology, while incorporating other evidence‐based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution‐Focused Therapy. I specialize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I take a person‐centered, collaborative approach to therapy and believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood. I meet clients where they are and create a safe, supportive space where they can openly share their experiences. While clients guide the focus of our work together, I actively offer insight, reflection, and evidence‐based tools to support growth and healing throughout the therapeutic journey. I strive to balance compassionate listening with gentle guidance, helping clients build awareness, develop coping strategies, and move toward lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and collaborative experience. I will ask questions to gain a better understanding of your concerns, background, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This initial conversation allows us to clarify your goals and begin identifying areas of focus for treatment.

Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that serves as a flexible guide for our work. This plan is designed to support your goals and will evolve over time to reflect your progress, changing needs, and insights gained throughout the therapeutic process.
