Great to meet you!

I’m a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience across public mental health, medical social work, crisis intervention, and telehealth psychotherapy. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and executive-functioning challenges, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, chronic illness and health-related stress, burnout, relationship and family-of-origin concerns, life transitions, and cultural or identity-related pressures.

I have a particular passion for helping people who feel pulled between their own needs and the expectations of family, culture, community, career, or faith. My goal is to provide a space where you can explore those complexities without judgment while building a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and sustainable.

My style is warm, culturally responsive, practical, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your individual values, experiences, and goals. I provide telehealth psychotherapy to adults throughout California.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and individualized to the person in front of me. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Motivational Interviewing, while also incorporating strengths-based and solution-focused strategies when appropriate.

Together, we look beyond symptoms to understand the patterns, relationships, experiences, cultural influences, beliefs, and current stressors that may be affecting how you feel and function. I balance compassionate listening with thoughtful questions, direct feedback, and practical strategies you can use outside of therapy.

I believe effective therapy should honor your background and identity while also helping you recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you. We work together to develop goals that are meaningful to you rather than forcing your experience into a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our sessions to provide both deeper understanding and practical direction. We will work together to identify patterns, triggers, strengths, and barriers; develop healthier ways of responding to stress; strengthen communication and boundaries; and build skills for managing difficult emotions, relationships, and life transitions.

My goal is for you to leave sessions with greater clarity, stronger self-awareness, useful coping strategies, and concrete next steps you can apply in everyday life. Over time, our work may help you develop greater confidence in your decisions, improve emotional regulation, understand yourself and your relationships more clearly, and feel better equipped to navigate challenges without losing sight of your own needs and values.

Therapy should not only feel supportive during the session—it should also give you insight and tools that remain useful between sessions and beyond.
