Great to meet you!

I have over twenty years of experience working with teens and adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety and more specifically with trauma. I want to help you make the changes that will help you live a full and well-rounded life. I have seen that building rapport with clients is the foundation of progress and I am committed to building that relationship with you. I bring a wealth of knowledge regarding trauma, grief, depression and anxiety and I am excited to see how I can help.

I have worked for two nonprofit agencies after getting my Master's Degree in 2005. I call myself an eclectic therapist since I utilize many different interventions, but I primarily use person centered, cognitive behavioral and supportive methods. I am also trained in EMDR.

My approach to therapy

Building a therapeutic relationship is the key to working through many of life's challenges, so find someone who can build that with you!

What you can expect from me

I take the approach that getting to know my clients is imperative to feeling safe and comfortable, so in the first session that is what I do. I want to know about why you would like therapy and I create a family tree to help me know where you came from.
