Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)based in California. Because my previous work has been so diverse these past several years, I treat every single client as an expert in their own lives. Whether the topics centered around anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I ensured the tools we developed were done collaboratively and in a safe space. Also, I work with various Korean-American communities because I am proficient in Korean.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I incorporate several therapeutic modalities although I lean towards evidence-based therapy. I also practice in a manner that promotes self-awareness and self-reflectiveness for spiritual growth and healing journeys. One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is creating a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. I value building trust with each client, unique perspectives, life experiences, and goals. I use a empathic, and respectful approach that honors the client’s autonomy and agency.

What you can expect from our first session

I am passionate about working with individuals who are ready to discover healthier coping skills to deal with life stressors in a supportive and non-judgmental space. Together, with my support and guidance, we can discover your inner voice and navigate through difficult circumstances towards your individual goals and your life direction. I believe each client is an expert in their own life, and I aim to help them discover and utilize their inner resources and strengths.
