Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Sarah Kraft, a licensed therapist in the Denver north metro area. I provide therapy for adults and couples, many of whom are navigating anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, or burnout. Clients often come to me wanting to feel more grounded, understood, and connected to themselves. In our work together, you’ll find warmth, humor, honesty, and a steady sense of hope as we move toward meaningful change.

As a therapist and a mom, I bring both professional insight and real-life perspective to my work. I’m deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting all people in healing their nervous system from the impact of trauma and oppression. I believe each person holds an innate capacity to heal, grow, and move toward a life of joy and purpose. Grounded in my values as a social worker, I believe in the dignity and rights of all people. My background includes volunteering with youth experiencing homelessness, working with LGBTQIA+ communities, and advocating for disability rights—experiences that continue to shape my inclusive and compassionate approach.

My approach to therapy

I bring a warm, collaborative style to our work, balanced with realness and a bit of humor. Together, we’ll start where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you—building resilience and navigating your challenges in a way that supports your growth and empowerment towards change.

I use evidence-based approaches to support clients in healing and becoming more emotionally grounded, including:

Internal Family Systems (IFS) – helping you connect with and understand different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – an evidence-based approach to processing trauma and reducing emotional distress

Somatic (body-based) approaches – supporting nervous system regulation and helping you reconnect with your body as part of trauma healing

Gottman Method for couples – practical, research-based tools to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen your relationship

Mindfulness-based practices to increase awareness and presence.

Together, we’ll work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about starting the conversation. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready for—there’s no right or wrong way to begin. We’ll also go over what therapy with me looks like and make sure it feels like a good fit for you.
