Great to meet you!

Welcome to my practice! I am a Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D.) and have been working in private practice for over 10 years. My areas of focus are anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and women’s issues. I use an integrative approach to help each client better understand how they function in their relationships, discover patterns in behavior, and accomplish treatment goals.

My approach to therapy

From the first session, I will work to get to know you and what makes you unique. I take an active, collaborative approach to help you learn about how you function in your everyday life—whether it be in your personal relationships, work life, or relationship with yourself. We will explore past events and use them to inform the present. I use evidence-based approaches to help delineate treatment goals. Throughout our work together, I encourage your feedback about your experience with the process.

What you can expect from me

Through our partnership, I hope to help you better understand yourself in terms of how you function in your personal relationships, and help you see patterns that may be causing distress. My style is one that primarily focuses on empathy and insight. Though talking about issues that come up in therapy may initially be difficult, with time you will notice you are seeing yourself in a new light, and that you are able to accomplish positive change.
