Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Haitian-American Clinical Psychologist. When I was about 10, I saw a scene which portrayed a psychologist with a client, and that moved me so profoundly that I knew that I wanted to become a "listener." A listener -- that's what younger me thought a therapist was. I continue on this path of learning to embody states of listener, healer, and a place of refuge for others as deeply as I can.

My approach to therapy

When clients feel lost, lonely, disconnected from themselves and others, sad, and frustrated, we work towards allowing and being with such difficulties; we also explore what matters to them -- what brings their lives meaning -- so they can begin to take small steps towards what matters e.g., joy, freedom, adventure, and love. When they feel misunderstood, unheard, and unseen, we work on making the therapeutic space a safe and brave space, which they can always come home to and feel belonging.

What you can expect from me

Clients will be able to strengthen their capacities to be with themselves, to swim in the present moment and self-kindness, to fall in love with themselves and others, to explore deeply what matters to them, and to be brave as they walk on that steep, treacherous mountain towards what matters -- choosing to walk it because they know that at the top lies the most joyous, peaceful, connected, stunning version of themselves.
