Great to meet you!

Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience working with adults and youth providing trauma informed therapy. It is often difficult to make the decision to start your therapeutic journey, congratulations on making that first step. My expertise is helping those impacted by a crisis, trauma, or abuse, and are experiencing suicidal ideation, anxiety, and substance dependence.

My approach to therapy

My approach with clients is strengths based and solution focused. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Techniques I will utilize are cognitive restructuring, motivational interviewing, and integrative therapy to name a few.

What you can expect from me

I will spend our first session establishing rapport and listening to where you are currently and what your goals are for our therapeutic relationship. It is important to be honest and open-minded about what you are looking for in therapy and ready to start your journey.
