Great to meet you!

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from carrying so much on their own. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, or the emotional changes that can accompany pregnancy and parenthood. Often, they have spent a long time trying to manage everything themselves before reaching out for support.

I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and accepted without judgment. I believe meaningful change happens when we can explore our experiences with curiosity and compassion rather than self-criticism. My goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, build confidence in their ability to navigate challenges, and create lasting changes that feel authentic and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. My work is informed by EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and parts work concepts. Together, we will explore not only current symptoms and stressors, but also the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to them.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. While I provide guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions, I also believe clients are the experts on their own experiences. Whether we are processing past trauma, managing anxiety, navigating a life transition, or working toward greater self-understanding, my focus is on helping clients create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and life experiences to better understand the context of your concerns.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying goals for treatment and discuss what the next steps may look like so you can leave with a clearer sense of direction and support.
