Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Sarah Long, and I have had the privilege of working as a social worker and counselor for 16 years. I have enjoyed counseling adults in an outpatient setting. I am looking forward to working with adults navigating stress, grief, and major life changes.

My approach to therapy

I prefer a relaxed structure. There are days when we may need to focus on goals for the coming weeks, and there will be days when you may need to just talk about what is on your mind in the safe setting of our counseling session. I use approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and relational therapy.

What you can expect from me

I like to create a warm, comfortable environment - humor is welcome and encouraged! I stay curious and will want to know what your goals are for our sessions and will keep us on track to meet those goals.
