Great to meet you!

I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that fosters bravery and invites people to reveal their authentic selves. Because I believe that therapy is most beneficial when it is lively and collaborative, I use a direct and open manner in treatment. I will work with you to create a therapy that is effective for you as an individual.

My approach to therapy

I have found that, by time a person comes to therapy, “simple” solutions have already been tried and have not worked. Thus, I will start by trying to understand the problem at a deep level, and then work with you to figure out what approach might be best to change underlying patterns and problems. I use a variety of evidence based approaches to therapy, including IFS, ACT, CBT, and dynamic/relational therapy.

What you can expect from me

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter therapy. I will work with you to determine how therapy can create deep and meaningful changes in you and your life. My hope is that you leave therapy not just with better coping skills or fewer symptoms, but with a new way of relating to yourself and the world.
