Great to meet you!

I am licensed clinical social worker and received my MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. I have been practicing for over 7 years, primarily working with adults of all ages. The areas of focus I most enjoy working with include depression, different forms of anxiety, OCD, relationship problems, and occupational stressors. I have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and of various cultural identities. I am also a mother and enjoy working with women who may be struggling with changes associated with pregnancy and postpartum.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy first places emphasis on making sure you feel understood and listened to. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist that will incorporate structured exercises into our sessions while also bringing in mindfulness techniques and other frameworks when appropriate. I believe in goal oriented therapy and am happy to collaborate on your therapy goals or agenda for each session.

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to feel like I am on the same team as them! Having a trustworthy relationship where you are supported and validated is very important to our work together. I also want clients to feel like there is an action plan towards their goals, this will include different types of therapy homework at times. I believe in teaching clients how to be their own therapist and to continue our work outside of session.
