Great to meet you!

There's a difference between coping and actually feeling okay, and if you've been doing the first one for a while, you probably know it. I work with kids, teens, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and the kind of family or relationship strain that makes everything else harder. Culture, identity, and belonging matter a lot to me in this work, not as an afterthought but as part of understanding who you are and where you come from. Whatever brought you here, I want this to be a place where all of that is welcome.

My approach to therapy

My own background, growing up between two cultures, shaped how I think about identity, family, and belonging, and it's part of why this work matters to me. In our sessions, I want you to walk away with real clarity, a better sense of what's driving your anxiety or depression, and practical ways to respond differently when things get hard. We'll build a collaborative relationship where I meet you where you are, and I'm comfortable gently pushing when it helps you grow. I tend to work best with people who want an active partner in their own change, not just someone to listen.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together isn't about telling me your whole life story in fifty minutes. I'll ask what made you reach out now, what a hard day looks like for you, and what you wish people understood about what you're carrying. You can ask me questions too, and by the end we'll both have a good feel for whether this feels right. If you're ready to start, I'd love to hear from you.
