Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board-approved Clinical Supervisor with over 15 years of experience as a therapist. I completed my MSW at Baylor University. My specialization is treating trauma and PTSD and I also have years of expertise in depression, anxiety, parenting, grief, spirituality, life transitions, mood disorders and women's issues. It is a privilege to journey with clients through difficult seasons and I look forward to making the journey with you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I apply various treatment modalities to address mental health and relationship issues, including: Cognitive behavioral therapy, Strengths-based approach, Attachment-focused therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Motivational interviewing, and Person-centered therapy.

I have been utilizing EMDR and other EMDR-based protocols for over 10 years to assist clients who have experienced single-incident traumatic events as well as life-long adverse experiences.

What you can expect from our first session

I work together with my clients to identify manageable and tangible steps towards healing and wholeness. This will often include: building coping skills between session; paying attention to mind, body and feelings; employing mindfulness and EMDR-based grounding strategies; planning and taking steps towards a desired goal; setting healthy boundaries with others.
