Great to meet you!

My path to mental health work started at home. When my younger brother was diagnosed with autism and a mental health disorder as a child, I became deeply invested in understanding what daily life looked like for him — and in doing whatever I could to help him thrive. That love and curiosity became my career.

Over more than ten years, I've worked with children navigating behavioral challenges, kids in foster care who've experienced instability and disruption, and adults living with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia. I bring patience, warmth, and a judgment-free approach to every session. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy — I believe in meeting you where you actually are, not where you think you should be.

I offer telehealth sessions across Texas, so geography is never a reason not to start.

My approach to therapy

I draw on CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, and person-centered approaches — not as rigid frameworks, but as tools I adapt to what you actually need in a given moment. That might mean identifying thought patterns that aren't serving you, exploring what your own version of "better" looks like, or simply figuring out together what's getting in the way.

I'm mindful in how I work — I help you pay attention to what's happening in your mind and body, not just talk about it from a distance. My philosophy is practical: change is possible with the right support, and we figure out what that support looks like for you specifically.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly you talking and me listening — really listening. I'll ask questions to understand your situation, what brought you to therapy, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have it all figured out or know exactly what you want to work on.

By the end, we'll have a clearer picture of where to start. Most people leave that first session feeling more heard than they expected. That's the foundation everything else is built on. Come as you are.
