Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sarah Mendoza, LCSW. I work with adults and older adults who are feeling overwhelmed by life changes, stress, or mental health concerns that are affecting their day-to-day functioning. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you get back to a sense of stability. We’ll work together to process what’s happening, reduce symptoms, identify your goals, and develop steps that feel realistic for you.

I have experience working with acute mental health concerns and crisis response, so I understand that sometimes life can feel difficult unexpectedly or all at once. Your safety and well-being are my priority. I also have a background in case management and can help connect you with additional resources when needed. I welcome Spanish-speaking clients.

I believe everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space to be honest, process what they’re going through, and find a way forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be your authentic self, feel heard, and work together toward the changes that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and what you hope to get from therapy. I’ll listen without judgment and work with you to create a comfortable, supportive plan moving forward.
