Great to meet you!

You might not have words for it yet, just a sense that something inside feels tight, disconnected, or tired of holding it all together. If you're landing here with that quiet hope for something different, I want you to know: you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.

I’m Sarah Menniti, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Jupiter, Florida. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, and my experience spans inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment. Today, I work in private practice, lead group therapy in an outpatient treatment center, and co-facilitate a surf therapy program that brings the nervous system into relationship with nature, movement, and community.

Many of the people I work with show up in the world as capable, reliable, and strong, but inside, they feel anxious, stuck, or burnt out. Often, they're caretakers, perfectionists, or people-pleasers who long for deeper ease and authenticity. In my presence, you don’t need to perform or figure anything out. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Outside of therapy, I stay grounded through time in nature, yoga, cycling, being in water, play, learning, and connection with people I love. These practices help me come home to myself, and I hope to support you in doing the same.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me isn’t just about talking; it’s about tuning in. Together, we create space to listen deeply to what your body, emotions, and inner parts are holding. I believe symptoms are not flaws to be fixed, but signals from a wise system that’s been working hard to protect you. Our work is about understanding those signals and gently supporting the internal shifts that create lasting change.

My approach is rooted in nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and curiosity, not pressure. I integrate modalities like EMDR, somatic therapy, parts work, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness training, CBT, and Polyvagal Theory to meet the whole of you. This means we can move between skill-building and deeper healing, depending on what your system is ready for.

Some sessions may involve learning new tools for grounding, self-compassion, or managing anxiety. Others may invite reflection, body awareness, or memory processing. All of it is collaborative. You’re the expert on your experience; I’m here to support the reconnection to your own inner knowing, so you can move through life with more safety, clarity, and ease.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me is a chance to arrive, breathe, and begin building a trusting connection. We’ll explore your story and current challenges with care, and I’ll share how I support clients in a collaborative, grounded way. I often offer a brief practice you can use between sessions to help your system feel more settled and supported.
