Great to meet you!

For over 10 years, I've had the opportunity to support people through some of life's hardest moments. My journey has taken me from working with youth in residential treatment to helping families involved in foster care, adoption, and divorce, as well as individuals involved in the justice system. I also spent time working at an eating disorder and substance use treatment center before becoming a high school counselor, where I currently work. Throughout every role, one thing has stayed the same; I genuinely love helping people and have always been passionate about mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relaxed, down-to-earth, and centered around you. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but more importantly, I believe in meeting you where you are. Whether you're ready to dive in or need to take things one step at a time, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported, knowing you don't have to figure everything out on your own. We'll work together to find the tools and solutions that fit your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other. I want to learn about what brought you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. There's no pressure to share everything at once, we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little less alone. We'll start identifying your strengths, talk through any immediate concerns, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and personalized to your needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I'm here to support you every step of the way in a relaxed, judgment-free space.
