Great to meet you!

I was born and raised in Canada, I moved to Alabama in 2000 and graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham with honors. I am a Board Certified as a Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2019. I have worked in the field of Mental Health since 2007 with over 15 years of outpatient experience including working with at-risk youth, veterans and community mental health. I enjoy sports and staying active in her spare time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

We use a biopsychosocial approach, which means that psychological and environmental factors are as important as medical aspects when evaluating a condition. Believing in patient-centered treatment where the psychiatrist acts as an advisor/consultant to patients in deciding on what treatment modality to use rather than deciding for them. Collaborating with patients and other providers in the treatment team.

What you can expect from our first session

With compassion and professionalism, we deliver personalized care in a friendly, comfortable environment for one-on-one, confidential support.
