Great to meet you!

My name is Sarah Moynihan, LICSW and I believe that you are the greatest project you'll ever work on! I believe that a positive therapeutic relationship should be supportive and create a safe space for individuals to better understand themselves as well as what they need to overcome life challenges. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Assumption University in 2012 and then went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from Bridgewater State University in 2019.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach in working with my clients. I do not utilize a one size fits all approach, as I tend to find my clients are the experts on their own lives. I believe that in meeting clients where they are at, we can collaborate together to identify the best interventions specifically tailored to meet your treatment needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a high level of engagement, curiosity, and a sincere willingness to help in working with me as a therapist. I don't want my clients to ever feel they are unsure of what they're working on in therapy. I want my clients to feel they've reach their stated goals by the end of our therapeutic relationship. In helping my clients succeed to this end clients can expect to have their feelings validated but also to be challenged to develop new ways of thinking and improve old habits.
