Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. My work has focused on caregiver burnout, aging and end-of-life issues, veteran support, adjustment to new or serious medical diagnoses, and family conflict. My background also includes working with foster children, foster/adoptive parents, and parents of children with ADHD, as well as helping immigrants and expatriates navigate culture shock and identity adjustment.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for the experiences you bring into the room. I welcome and affirm all gender identities and sexual orientations, and I provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel supported, understood, and open to growth. My focus is on your strengths rather than your perceived limitations. Through a collaborative process, I help clients reconnect with their potential for meaning, satisfaction, and healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I ask open ended questions in an effort to find out what led to you seeking therapeutic support at this time. I create a safe, understanding space for you to share your struggles and hopes for your future outcome.
