Great to meet you!

I am an EMDR therapist and specialize in counseling women and parents. My practice focuses on mood and anxiety disorders, trauma (including birth trauma and sexual assault), infertility and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ and multicultural identities. I am sensitive to the feelings you are experiencing throughout your challenges and identity shifts. Each person is unique, so I adapt my therapeutic interventions to you and your current needs and goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use EMDR, talk therapy, unconditional positive regard, and empathy to help you find your path to healing. EMDR is an effective, evidence-based modality proven to help people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including anxiety and depression. I also tend to use emotional regulation and mindfulness techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I use a positive approach to incorporate your strengths and struggles to work towards the changes that you want in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients leave sessions feeling lighter and less activated by anxiety and trauma. It is important to me that you feel understood by me, and more importantly, centered and connected to your true self. You can learn strategies to live your best life and process your thoughts and feelings to heal from the past. You owe it to yourself!
