Sarah O’Connell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 20 years of experience working in the mental health field. Sarah completed her MSW at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a concentration in health care.

Sarah works with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and substance abuse.

Sarah has spent time with her family in foreign service posts abroad, giving her insight into both the opportunities and challenges of working in the federal government, as well as living abroad.

Sarah has extensive training in various modalities including i-rest ® and trauma interventions such as EMDR. Sarah also incorporates creative expression in her work and tailors her approach to meet your unique and specific needs.

Sarah’s counseling style is warm and interactive. Her approach combines humanistic, psychodynamic and mindfulness-based techniques.
