Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am building my private practice "Seasons of Change Counseling, LLC". I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families through some of life's most significant transitions. My passion lies in guiding people through these pivotal moments, helping them navigate the complexities and challenges they face, and ultimately witnessing their growth and transformation.

My areas of specialization include:

  • Certified as a Women's Mental Health Specialist
  • Certified Trauma Informed Therapist
  • Certification and training in supporting healthy infant-parent attachment and identifying postpartum depression.
  • Perimenopause: Helping individuals navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological changes associated with this significant life stage.
  • Launching Young Adult Children: Guiding parents and young adults through the transition to independence and the changing dynamics of their relationships.
  • Buying a Home: Providing support during the stressful process of purchasing a home, including managing expectations and dealing with financial concerns.
  • Divorce: Empowering individuals to create a new healthy identity with themselves and navigate uncharted waters while learning to swim.
  • Career Changes: Assisting clients in navigating the uncertainties and opportunities associated with career transitions, including exploring new paths and finding fulfillment in their professional lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a deep respect for the individuals I work with. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives. My goal is to help people become "unstuck" and to support them in reaching their fullest potential.

What you can expect from me

I take a client-centered approach, tailoring my interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each person I work with. This involves collaborating with clients to identify their strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and developing a personalized plan to help them achieve their desired outcomes.

My dog "Todd" featured in my profile picture may not have passed the Therapy Dog test but he is therapeutic to me! By request, he may make a guest appearance during virtual sessions.
