Great to meet you!

Hey y’all! I’m Sarah Padgett, and I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. After finding the field of Marriage and Family Therapy, I knew there was no other career for me. I’ve always been passionate about helping children and families, and now I’m granted opportunities to on a daily basis. Truly living the dream for me! I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia and went on to pursue my Master’s at East Carolina University. Now, I have the joy of working with individuals and families to create long-lasting change. I work from a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help my clients reach their therapeutic goals. I especially enjoy working with families with adolescents struggling with behavioral and social issues such as: depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, peer relationships, life transitions, difficulty with emotional expression, defiance, and anger outbursts. I also enjoy getting to work with adults who are struggling with depressive and/or anxiety symptoms, phase of life concerns, as well as recovering from trauma. I am an advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community. I am so appreciative to be considered to go on your therapeutic journey with you, and I hope I meet you soon!
