Great to meet you!

I work with clients who are facing a change in their physical health, the exhaustion of a chronic issue, a big life change, or feelings of anxiety or depression. Whether the initial shock is feeling unreal or the weight of carrying this experience is feeling heavy, life is very overwhelming right now. Not to mention, all the other daily tasks and responsibilities. I want to help ease some of that load.

I view wellness as an interaction between the mind, the body, and the environment, and so I believe it is necessary to take a holistic approach to find solutions and relief.

I have focused a lot of my clinical experience in medical settings with individuals adjusting to medical diagnoses and chronic illness. I have also worked in outpatient mental health offices, schools, and community settings.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process focused on identifying what is most important to you and working together towards your values and goals. When we know what is most important to us, we can take steps towards living a life in line with those priorities. In a world full of competing pressures and demands, it can be easy to fall out of sync with what brings us joy.

What you can expect from me

I strive to foster a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. My goal is for you to walk away feeling encouraged and motivated. Over the course of our work together, we will frequently check in about how you feel treatment is going and how you are progressing towards your goals.
