Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work who values staying well-informed about both established and new mental health treatments that support holistic healing and thriving. With over 7 years of joyful experience providing care to adolescents and adults (ages 13 to 65) across many cultures and settings, and in both short and long-term contexts, I adapt easily to building trust with people of diverse backgrounds while providing culturally/spiritually-affirming and trauma-informed care.

My approach to therapy

I believe that a therapist’s ability to help you reach your potential is correlated with their own practice of the strategies they espouse and their willingness to learn from you as the expert in your own life, and that’s exactly my approach. I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach, and my goal is for us to walk together and co-create a way forward. To tailor a program that fits your unique needs, I draw from many approaches, including IFS, ACT, CBT, DBT, MI, SE, mindfulness-based practices, expressive art therapies, and am currently completing my EMDR therapy certification. I can balance both psychodynamic and solution-focused approaches, and even enjoy incorporating a coaching style if that best aids your growth. I will go the distance to learn what’s needed to support your journey.

What you can expect from me

I like to understand the recurring themes in your life, starting with current challenges and connecting them to patterns that may have kept you feeling stuck in the past. Ultimately however I adapt to the approach you’re most comfortable with, while maintaining a structure that helps you feel that you’re gaining valuable insights and learning helpful skills in each session. I start with creating emotional safety first, remaining mindful of the way systems impact how we show up, and then deepen exploration at your pace so that you feel supported each step of the way. I am excited to help you feel empowered to embody your highest potential!
