Great to meet you!

I earned my Master’s in Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University in 2018. My experience began as a Master level student working with incarcerated individuals in the county jail. I have since worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with individuals with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, addiction, and grief.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy includes trauma informed care with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Each person’s individual needs vary and I pull from different approaches as needed in order to help each individual address these needs and meet their goals. I use a strengths-based perspective to help clients build on the foundation they already have in place.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm environment in which they feel comfortable to open up and work towards their goals. This is a collaborative relationship in which the client will feel comfortable and motivated to work toward change. I look forward to helping clients build confidence within themselves to live the life they have envisioned.
