Great to meet you!

I am an LPC who specializes in working with kids, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with a variety of different ages and a variety of challenges including ADHD, anger, anxiety, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, and behavioral issues. One of my passions is helping to increase communication and create understanding between family members to build a strong foundation from which they can navigate the challenges of family life. I believe that because children and teenagers are always in the process of growing (physically and cognitively), and they are uniquely resilient, and I enjoy their honesty and sense of humor.

My approach to therapy

I approach mental health from a holistic perspective and I aim to help clients identify their values and live in alignment with those values to create a meaningful life. I bring authenticity to my sessions to ensure that clients first feel connected and safe to share their story. I have an eclectic approach, and I utilize techniques from ACT, play therapy, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and EFT. I believe that successful therapy will look different for each person and therefore, it is important to me to let you lead the process of therapy. I truly enjoy exploring personal strengths and identifying values so that you can live a meaningful life. During every session, my hope is that you feel both understood and comfortable speaking your mind, and that you feel that you are not alone in your experience.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my primary goal is to give you the space to tell your story so that I can get to know you and come to an understanding of what you want to get from therapy. By the end of our first session, we will have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a personalized approach to help you work toward them.
