Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) working with individuals and couples for over 10 years.

I use various therapeutic approaches to meet each client's needs. These are: client-centered, strengths-based, trauma informed, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, Gottman therapy, mindfulness and solution focused therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is empathetic, collaborative, and evidence-based. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop new coping strategies, and create positive change within their lives.

I work with individuals with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, maternal mental health, and stress management/life transitions.

I also work with couples to manage conflict, infidelity, intimacy, coparenting, and communication issues.

What you can expect from our first session

While working together, you will be able to express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental space. We will work on developing goals you'd like to work on in therapy, and sessions are often a mix of what you will bring in weekly, along with addressing your longer term goals. You can expect to take away new insights, coping strategies, and communication tools to use outside of sessions. I use humor, kindness and creativity within sessions and believe that therapy, while difficult, can also be fun!
