Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker & certified EMDR therapist that enjoys working with adults across the lifespan. I have experience working with diverse adult populations experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, relational difficulties, and family of origin issues. I specialize in trauma and particularly enjoy working with individuals whose past experiences are impacting their ability to connect with others, navigate life transitions, or regulate emotions.

My approach to therapy

Regardless of what you come in for, I will meet you where you are and develop a treatment plan with your input. I recognize the importance of developing relationships with my clients that are based in trust and hope. My top priority is creating an affirming and safe space where you can feel comfortable to address difficulties with honesty and vulnerability. I strive to incorporate practices that are intended to give space to your experience and empower you.

What you can expect from me

My first 3-4 sessions are considered the assessment phase. During these sessions, I will ask open-ended questions that will allow me to understand your reasons for seeking treatment. This period also allows me to begin considering forms of treatment that may be most effective for you. After the assessment phase, I will discuss options for treatment and collaborate with you to develop a plan that will provide a sense of direction in our work together.
